Partnership and collaboration between Visionary Empowerment Inc and Innovation: Africa

They are in recognition of my service as Board Member of Innovation: Africa since its inception in 2008. I have also served as its Representative to the United Nations.

I have treasured this partnership and collaboration between Visionary Empowerment Inc and Innovation: Africa as well as my personal friendship with Sivan Ya’ari, Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

Sivan founded the organization in 2008 when she was in her twenties. Thereafter she asked me to help her and I accepted her gracious invitation to join the organization and to serve as a board member in 2008.

Sivan is a spiritual, inspirational, impactful, remarkable, resilient, loving and compassionate leader. She has led the organization to significant successes of providing access to solar powered clean water using Israeli technology for over six (6) million people in more than ten (10) African countries.
In doing so the organization has made a significant contribution to the implementation of all the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Water Is Life.

In particular, Innovation: Africa has contributed to the implementation of:
SDG1 (No poverty), SDG2 (No hunger, SDD3 (Health and wellbeing), SDG4 (Education),
SDG5 (gender equality and empowerment of women and girls), SDG6 (Clean water and sanitation), SDG7 (Affordable and clean energy), SDG8 (Decent work and economic growth), SDG9 (Industry, innovation and infrastructure),
SDG10 (Reduced inequalities),
SDG11 (Sustainable cities and communities), SDG12 (Responsible consumption and production), SDG13 (Clean action), SDG14 (Life below water), SDG15 (Life on land),
SDG16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and SDG17
( Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development).

In sum, all the SDGs have been positively impacted by the significant charitable work of Innovation: Africa and its noble mission of providing access to clean water, particularly to over six (6) million vulnerable people in rural and marginalized communities of ten (10) African countries. And, says Sivan, “the work has just begun!”
