ACHIEVEMENTS
In ten (10) years, our organization recorded significant successes, notably in the following areas:
- More than 600 training graduates from Visionary Training Center placed in permanent jobs and/or sustaining themselves, their families and strengthening their communities. These graduates have been empowered to contribute to the national economy and a better world. They have the opportunity to live with decency, dignity, and a sense of self-esteem in the community and beyond.
It is important to highlight the fact that all our programs to orphans, widows and underprivileged trainees have been tuition-free. All our training and management staff are female. And all our training programs derive from the needs of our partner communities, including faith-based, women, and youth organizations.
This has ensured community commitment to sustainable provision of services.
The most important goal achievement is the empowerment of women and girls in our partner communities. This is the primary mission and calling of Visionary Empowerment.
- Knitting wear commercial production: More than 200 graduates placed in permanent jobs and/or sustaining themselves and their families.
- Entrepreneurship training and Computer skills training: More than 500 graduates.

- Another longstanding and significantly impactful Visionary Empowerment collaboration, from 2008 to present, has been with Innovation: Africa, a New York not-for-profit corporation.
Innovation:Africa is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that is dedicated to bringing water and solar technologies to remote African villages. Since 2008, Innovation:Africa has completed more than 1,000 water and solar projects in ten African countries, transforming the lives of more than 5 million vulnerable people and marginalized communities. And making a significant contribution to the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
I have served as a board member of Innovation:Africa since 2008 and I am currently serving as the organization’s Representative to the United Nations. The organization’s website is: innoafrica.org
Visionary Empowerment and I have continued to serve in collaboration with other United Nations-accredited non-governmental organizations founded by women.
This highlights a firm faith-based commitment to my spiritual calling and noble cause.
With effect from December 8, 2023, Visionary Empowerment, Inc has been granted 501(c)(3) tax exempt status by the IRS. This new tax exempt status and the organization’s timely and inspiring collaboration with Givebutter have necessitated a strategic shift of focus to fundraising for projects with proven transformative impact on women and girls, other vulnerable persons and disadvantaged groups – including orphans and widows, youth and children, the elderly, persons with disabilities, indigenous people, as reflected in the above mission of Visionary Empowerment, Inc.
Visionary Empowerment will seek Givebutter’s competent fundraising support for its present and prospective projects in the period ahead.
